Back for a limited time! Hurry, it won’t last long! Get it while supplies last! Chick-fil-A loves using seasonal menu items to build excitement. Few seasonal menu items have the enthusiastic following of Chick-fil-A’s peach milkshake. Nothing embodies the taste of summer quite like it.

We’re also reviewing Chick-fil-A’s newest limited-time menu item. Mango Passion Tea Lemonade is Chick-fil-A’s first seasonal beverage since Strawberry Passion Tea Lemonade in summer 2019. Apparently Chickfila tested this out in Jacksonville, Florida last fall and it got a great response. Mango Passion Tea Lemonade starts at $1.99 for a small and $2.19 for a large. The beverage is also available with Chick-fil-A® Diet Lemonade and Sweetened Iced Tea.

We invited Lynsie Sisk to help us review this new drink. Lynsie is an Instagram blogger, wife, thrifter and singer. She’s also the Director of Marketing and Events for Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce, so she’s pretty much an expert on summer. Turns out, she’s also an expert on the Chick-fil-A menu! We put her to the test with a new game.

Menu or Men-NO?

Is there a Chick-fil-A limited-time menu item that you loved, but disappeared? We’re taking some time to reminisce about a few of the seasonal menu items we’ve loved in the past. There have also been menu items that were tested, but didn’t end up making the cut. On this week’s episode we played a game called Menu or Men-NO and Lynsie is a Chick-fil-A expert! She nailed this quiz by knowing which menu items made the cut. Do you remember these?

Past Seasonal Menu Items

Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich: Chick-fil-A’s grilled chicken breast, served on a toasted, buttered sweet yeast bun with Colby-Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, bacon, and a zesty Smokehouse BBQ Sauce crafted specifically for the entrée. This first came in the summer of 2017, returned in summer of 2019, but we haven’t seen it since.

Frosted Key Lime: hand-spun combination of Chick-fil-A’s signature IceDream, CHickfila lemonade, and natural, sugar-free lime flavoring made from a blend of key limes, kaffir limes and Persian limes. This drink was tested in Austin in 2018, and offered for a limited time in the spring of 2019.

Frosted Sunrise: a creamy and tart treat combining Chick-fil-A’s signature vanilla Icedream® and Simply Orange® Juice. This was a seasonal treat from spring of 2018.

Didn’t Make the Cut

Mocha Cream Cold Brew: a swirl of cold-brewed coffee, sweetened cream and chocolate-flavored syrup. This was tested in Denver, Colorado, and Cheyenne, Wyoming, but so far not released.

Honey Peppercorn Salad: Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Strips, feta and goat cheese, bacon and tart dried cherries are all served over arugula and mixed greens, topped with salted caramel pecans, Honey Peppercorn Vinaigrette and a packet of honey. It was tested in spring of 2018 in DC and Charlotte. We haven’t seen it on the menu yet!
