What is The Greatest Inheritance About?
The movie is about four estranged siblings who embark on the scavenger hunt of a lifetime when they find out their mother’s will is hidden on her property. The person who finds the will inherits the estate. Will the DuBose siblings continue to bicker or will their mom’s plan to reunite them and focus their attention on their true inheritance in Heaven succeed? Through many twists and turns, plus their mom’s unexpected “special rules,” these siblings are reminded of the hope that guided their mother’s life – the great inheritance of the Kingdom of Heaven. Alexandra and Andrea explain that they modeled the DuBose siblings after the four kids in their own family.
Who Stars in The Greatest Inheritance?
The film stars several familiar faces including Jaleel White. Jaleel, known for his role as Steve Urkel on the 90s hit sitcom Family Matters, is now playing Mr. Shepherd. Shepherd is the attorney charged with making sure the siblings follow the rules set out in their mother’s will. The Greatest Inheritance is coming to digital and VOD on March 25, 2022. It will be available to stream on services like Amazon Prime, YouTube, and Apple TV.
Other Siblings Behind Faith-Based Movies
Alexandra and Andrea draw inspiration from another set of siblings making movies: The Kendrick Brothers. Just as The Greatest Inheritance was filmed in Georgia, many of the Kendrick Brothers’ films have also been shot in Georgia. The sisters are also in post-production of a new movie called Identity Crisis. Their new film is about a shy science whiz who figures out how to clone herself. She uses the clone to do all the things she’s afraid of. She then realizes she has confidence in God. Listen to our full interview with the Boylan Sisters here:
